This tea is a true work of craftsmanship. The leaves of this pu-erh tea are stuffed inside a whole mandarin orange, creating a wonderful tea with a sweet and tangy flavor. Chinese tea artisans shape and press the tea into many interesting forms, perpetually searching for new tastes and new ways to present the leaf.

In this case, the pu-erh leaves are stuffed into green mandarins and then left to dry in the sun for about a week, enriching the flavor of the leaves. Each mandarin weighs between 10 and 14 grams. The mature pu-erh has been aged for six years before being stuffed into the fruit, giving the base tea a bit more character and a much broader aromatic profile.

To prepare this tea, simply place a mandarin orange in the bottom of your teapot or container and pour very hot water over it for about thirty seconds. This will be enough to obtain a rich and flavorful infusion. Feel free to repeat the process as many times as needed to achieve the desired color and flavor.
