Sticky Rice Oolong
50g Loose Leaf Tea
$24.00
Very rare, this lightly oxidized and hand-picked Jin Xuan oolong tea, from northern Thailand, more precisely from Doi Mae Salong, in the province of Chiang Rai, is associated during its manufacturing process with the famous local plant, "Nuo Mi Xiang", which has a sublime aroma of sticky rice.
The leaves of this oolong, still damp, are placed in contact with this plant so that the leaves absorb its fragrance and then dried to fix the rice scent.
Located between 1200-1400m altitude, this farm produces about ten teas, each as original as the next.
The cultivars used were imported from Taiwan and were chosen because they are perfect for producing great vintages on rich soils, with the very good climatic conditions that the region offers.
In the cup, a beautiful golden and creamy bouquet, with a dominant note of glutinous rice and a vegetal note.
