Our organic Houjicha is certified by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. It is grown using only natural organic fertilizers and without any agricultural chemicals or pesticides. Houjicha is produced from Bancha tea leaves, which are roasted at 190°C. This dark brown tea, with its roasted nutty flavor, is easy to drink and perfect for discovering the world of Japanese tea. Because Houjicha is roasted, it is very low in caffeine.
