We are delighted to add this magnificent oolong tea from the Wang family to our selection. "Honey Scent" is a lightly roasted oolong made from the Wuyi cultivar, grown at an altitude of 1000 meters. The honey aroma is created during the tea plant's growth. Tiny grasshoppers nibble on the tea leaves as they mature, causing slight oxidation before harvest. This pre-harvest oxidation imparts a honeyed and sweet flavor. Joshua from the Wang family has chosen a light roast using the traditional charcoal method to highlight the sweetness and allow some fruity notes to emerge.
