Five Trees White Tea
100g Loose Leaf Tea
$19.00
We are delighted to collaborate with Phyu Thwe, founder of Five Trees Tea Estate, a micro-tea plantation located in Mogok, Mandalay, Myanmar. Phyu started this project to replace local mining, which had a devastating impact on the environment. Today, Phyu and her family produce approximately 25 kg of tea per year, naturally and without pesticides. Their long-term goal is to cultivate high-quality tea for both the local and international markets, while creating jobs for their community.
Respecting the traditions of maocha production on-site for decades, Five Trees Tea Estate now offers white, green, and black teas. We chose this sweet and fruity white tea for its juicy infusion, which develops over 3 to 4 infusions. It is recommended to enjoy it using the gong fu cha method, at a temperature of approximately 75 degrees Celsius, for a smooth and pleasant experience.
