Five Trees Black Tea
100g Loose Leaf Tea
$19.00
We are delighted to collaborate with Phyu Thwe, founder of Five Trees Tea Estate, a micro-tea plantation located in Mogok, Mandalay, Myanmar. Phyu started this project to replace local mining, which had a devastating impact on the environment. Today, Phyu and her family produce approximately 25 kg of tea per year, naturally and without pesticides. Their long-term goal is to cultivate high-quality tea for both the local and international markets, while creating jobs for their community.
Respecting the traditions of maocha, which has been produced on-site for decades, Five Trees Tea Estate now offers white, green, and black tea. We chose black tea because of its beautiful twisted leaves, composed of buds and first leaves. With a golden liquor and citrus and floral notes, Five Trees Black Tea is perfect for starting the day.
