Alishan Tsou Oolong

50g Loose Leaf Tea

$29.00

After more than 5 long hours of walking, we finally arrived.

Nestled at an altitude of over 1450 meters, this small family-run tea plantation is accessible only upon the recommendation of a member of the Tsou community. This is to protect it from the massive influx of tourists, to preserve the ecosystem of this wonderful place, and to perpetuate the traditional production techniques that make this tea truly unique. It is in this very privileged location that we have the opportunity to spend the day and taste numerous oolongs, each as original as the next. However, one of them truly stands out for its elegance and complexity. Infused with very hot water, this beautiful harvest of large-leaf oolong offers a fresh, honeyed bouquet in the cup, with a remarkably long and lingering finish.

When cold-brewed, this tea also reveals a very wide aromatic range with a dominant floral character.
